He started his martial arts life in 1979 by ' Tae kwon do ' Later on he has studied the systems of ' Kyokushinkai karate ' (1981-1986) , ' Ashihara karate '(1987-1998) , ' Kick boxing ' (1999-2000) , and ' Goshinkaikan ' (2001-2003 ). Soke Sefik Gulten has been in search for all his martial arts life and has gained a wide range of information about all the World's systems. By concentrating on ' Do ' philosophy's main goal, the warrior's virtue, he has researched the scientific dimension other than the thecnical aspects. Because the systems soke has studied mostly belonged to Japanese culture, he has concentrated on Japanese culture and martial arts. Tobe able to learn these topics, first this nation?s language had to be learnt. For this reason, he has done research on Japanese language and culture. Soke Sefik Gulten, believing that the subject should be taken more seriously, has also sent one of his student that to Japanese language courses. The student that compleded his studies here, later on at different times, has gone to Japan and done studies there. Soke has been exchanging information times to times and has achieved new experiences he has gained from the martial arts and has gone into a scientific study. After making the decision of compiling all the information and experiences he has gained for his martial arts life about 28 Years, soke Sefik Gulten has worked on a new martial art school and has created a martial art called ' Wakazamurai ' that consist of self-defense and knock down systems and he calls as ' My life path.' Wakazamurai martial art is found by an inspiration from the legendary Japanese ' Samurai 'warriors and Turkish ' Alp's 'way of life. The Japanese - Turkish friendship that has been contiuning for all the history has played an impordant role in the foundation of this system. Wakazamurai is created as a Japanese-Turkish synthesis system which, is a compilation of warious martial art systems, and has its Worl general center at Istanbul and its creator is soke Sefik Gulten. Soke Sefik Gulten has had opportunities of training with the masters of martial arts for all his life and has benefited from their valuable experiences. The tree most importand masters that soke Sefik Gulten had the opportunity meet and train with are Grand master Nihat Yigit ( Founder of Goshinkaikan ),Grandmaster Keith Nessbit ( Founder of Pylsung do karate 10.Dan )...
